Summary

Utiluse tools run in your browser. Text, files, images, passwords and other content you enter are processed on your device and are not sent to us.

What we collect

We collect anonymous usage statistics such as page views, the tool used, the country, the device type and whether an action succeeded. We never record what you type or upload. We do not store the IP addresses of visitors. Only for requests identified as automated or abusive, such as bots, the IP address is kept encrypted for up to 48 hours so that it can be blocked. Addresses involved in attacks (for example probing for configuration files or injecting code) may be blocked permanently; for security and, where necessary, to report the abuse to the authorities, the records of those attacks, including the IP address, are kept encrypted for as long as the block lasts and as long as that purpose requires.

Cookies and advertising

We use Google AdSense to show ads. Google and its partners use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalized advertising at https://www.google.com/settings/ads or https://www.aboutads.info. Visitors in the EEA, UK and Switzerland are asked for consent before personalized ads or analytics cookies are used.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics and Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand which tools are used. Cloudflare Web Analytics does not use cookies. Google Analytics may set cookies; you can block them with your browser settings or the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.

Local storage

Some tools remember your settings, such as your theme or last used options, in your browser's local storage. This stays on your device and you can clear it at any time in your browser.

Camera, microphone, location and sensors

Some tools ask your browser for access to the camera, microphone, location or motion sensors, for example the sound level meter, the compass, the altimeter and the Morse code flashlight. They only start when you allow it, the data is processed on your device in real time and is never recorded or sent to us. You can withdraw the permission at any time in your browser settings.

Third parties

Pages are delivered by Cloudflare. Ads are provided by Google. These providers process technical data such as your IP address to deliver their services, under their own privacy policies.

Children

Utiluse is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

Your rights

You can ask us about any data related to you, or ask us to delete it, by writing to support@utiluse.com.
