Make an Instagram collage at the exact feed size: 4:5 at 1080 × 1350 px, a 1080 × 1080 square or a 1080 × 1920 Story. Start from a four-photo grid and switch to a mosaic in one tap.
How to use
- Pick how many photos you want (2 to 9) and a layout. Tap an empty cell to fill it, or drop or paste several photos at once.
- Drag inside a cell to move the photo. Pinch, scroll or use the Zoom slider to crop tighter. Drag a photo onto another cell to swap them.
- Choose the aspect ratio, then set spacing, border, corner radius and background color. Add a caption if you want one.
- Pick the size and format and tap Download. The 4K size is good for prints.
- Social size gives Instagram-ready pixels: 1080 × 1350 for 4:5, 1080 × 1080 for 1:1, 1080 × 1920 for Stories.
- Spacing, border, corners and caption scale with the picture, so the download looks exactly like the preview.
- Full-resolution photos are used for the download, and phone photos are turned upright using their EXIF orientation.
- Photos are processed in your browser and never uploaded.
Sizes and aspect ratios
Choose 1:1, 4:5, 9:16, 16:9, 3:2, A4 or a tall 1:3 strip, and flip between portrait and landscape. The Social size uses 1080 px on the short side, which gives 1080 × 1350 for a 4:5 Instagram post, 1080 × 1080 for a square and 1080 × 1920 for Stories.
The Large size sets the long side to 2560 px and 4K to 3840 px. For a 10 × 15 cm (4 × 6 in) print, 4K at 3:2 gives 3840 × 2560 pixels, comfortably above 300 DPI.
Making the photos fit
Every cell crops its photo to fill the space. Drag inside a cell to choose which part shows, and pinch, scroll or use the zoom slider to crop tighter. Drag a photo onto another cell to swap them. Faces near the edge of a tall cell are the usual problem, so check portraits in narrow cells.
Spacing, borders and captions
Spacing, border, corner radius and caption size are proportional to the picture, so the download looks exactly like the preview at any size. A white or light background suits prints; a dark one makes colorful photos stand out on social media. Full-resolution photos are used for the export and phone photos are turned upright from their EXIF data.
Frequently asked questions
How do I make a photo collage on my phone?
Pick the number of photos and a layout, tap a cell to add a photo, drag to adjust, then choose the size and save it. Everything works with touch, including pinch to zoom.
What size should an Instagram collage be?
Use 4:5 at 1080 × 1350 px for a feed post, 1:1 at 1080 × 1080 px for a square, or 9:16 at 1080 × 1920 px for Stories. Choose the Social size to get these exact pixels.
How many photos can a collage have?
From 2 to 9. Each number of photos has several grid and mosaic layouts to choose from.
Can I print the collage?
Yes. Choose the 4K size, which makes the long side 3840 px. That is enough for sharp prints up to about A4 or 8 × 10 in.
Does the collage have a watermark?
No. The image you download contains only your photos, the background and your caption.
Are my photos uploaded?
No. The collage is drawn in your browser and the photos stay on your device.
