Turn photos and scans into one PDF: JPG, PNG and WebP images, in the order you choose, on A4 (210 × 297 mm), Letter (8.5 × 11 in) or pages that fit each image. JPG photos are embedded without recompression, so they keep full quality.
How to use
- Pick an operation at the top: Merge, Split, Compress, Organize, Rotate, JPG to PDF, PDF to JPG, Page numbers, Watermark or Metadata.
- Drop files on the card, tap to choose them, or paste them with Ctrl+V.
- Adjust the options. Drag files into the order you want; in Organize, drag the page thumbnails.
- Press the button, then download the result. Keep editing sends the result on to the next operation.
- Everything runs in your browser. Files are never uploaded to a server.
- Page ranges: “1-3, 5, 8-” means pages 1 to 3, page 5, and pages 8 to the end. Each range becomes its own file unless you choose One PDF.
- Password-protected PDFs can’t be edited. Remove the password in your PDF reader first.
- JPG photos go into the PDF without recompression, so they keep their original quality.
- Rotate keeps links, bookmarks and form fields. Organize builds a fresh PDF with only the pages you keep, so deleted pages really shrink the file.
- Compress: Basic is lossless and changes nothing you can see. Recommended recompresses large images to the chosen resolution (150 DPI suits screens and office printing) and leaves text and vector graphics untouched. Strong turns each page into an image, so text can no longer be selected. If a result isn’t smaller, the original is kept.
Page ranges and splitting
Ranges use the common print-dialog syntax: “1-3, 5, 8-” means pages 1 to 3, page 5, and page 8 to the end. In a 10-page file that gives three parts: pages 1–3, page 5 and pages 8–10. Each range becomes its own PDF in a ZIP unless you choose One PDF. You can also split every N pages, for example every 2 pages for double-sided forms.
How PDF compression works
Most of a large PDF is usually images. Basic compression is lossless: it removes unused objects and duplicates and packs the file tighter, and nothing visible changes. Recommended recompresses large images to the resolution you choose; 150 DPI is plenty for screens and office printers, and halving the resolution of a 300 DPI scan leaves a quarter of the pixels. Text and vector graphics are left untouched.
Strong turns every page into an image, which shrinks scans the most but makes text unselectable. If a result is not smaller, the original is kept.
What is preserved
Rotate keeps links, bookmarks and form fields. Organize and Delete pages build a fresh PDF containing only the pages you keep, so removed pages really reduce the file size. JPG photos are placed into a PDF without recompression and keep their original quality. Password-protected PDFs cannot be edited; remove the password in your PDF reader first.
Frequently asked questions
Is it safe to edit confidential PDFs here?
Yes. All processing happens in your browser with JavaScript; the files are never sent to a server, and the tool keeps working without a connection once loaded.
How do I merge PDF files?
Choose Merge, drop the files, drag them into the right order and press the button. The page count of each file is shown so you can check the result.
How can I make a PDF smaller?
Choose Compress and start with Recommended at 150 DPI. If the file is a scan and still too large, try a lower resolution or Strong, keeping in mind that Strong makes the text unselectable.
How do I extract only some pages?
Use Split with a range such as 2-4 and choose One PDF, or open Organize, delete the pages you do not need and save.
Can I edit the text inside a PDF?
No. These tools work on pages, images and metadata. To change the wording, edit the original document and export it again.
Why can't I open my PDF?
Password-protected or damaged files cannot be processed. Remove the password in your PDF reader, or re-save the file with Print to PDF, and try again.
