This tool makes an image of a signature. It is not a certified or legally verified electronic signature.
Draw your signature as you would on paper: pressure and speed shape the line, so it looks handwritten rather than digital. Pick black, blue or another ink, then download a PNG trimmed to the signature for PDFs, contracts and scanned forms.
How to use
- Draw your signature in the box with a mouse, finger or stylus. Pen pressure and speed change the line width like real ink.
- Or switch to Type, enter your name and pick a handwriting style.
- Choose ink color and width. Undo removes the last stroke.
- Download a transparent PNG (trimmed to the signature) or SVG, or copy the image and paste it into a document.
- This creates an image of your signature. It is not a certified or legally verified electronic signature.
- Nothing is saved or uploaded: the drawing exists only in this tab.
- Typed styles use handwriting fonts installed on your device, so they can look different on other computers. Drawn signatures look the same everywhere.
- The email signature builder makes table-based HTML that Gmail, Outlook and Apple Mail display reliably. Images must be hosted online (https) to show up in emails.
Drawing a natural signature
Ink width reacts to pen pressure on a stylus and to speed with a mouse or finger, so fast strokes become thinner, like real ink. Draw large in the box; the PNG is trimmed to the signature, so empty space is cut away. Undo removes the last stroke if one goes wrong.
On a phone, turn it sideways for a wider box. A stylus on a tablet gives the most natural result.
Using the signature in documents
A transparent PNG can be placed over a signature line in Word, Google Docs, PDF editors and most e-signing tools without a white box around it. SVG stays sharp at any size and suits design tools. Choose blue or black ink depending on what the document expects; many offices prefer blue to show it is not a photocopy.
What this is and isn’t
The result is an image of your signature. It is not a certified electronic signature with identity verification, which some contracts and official forms require. Typed styles use handwriting fonts installed on your device, so they can look different elsewhere; a drawn signature looks the same everywhere.
Frequently asked questions
How do I create a signature online?
Draw it in the box with your mouse, finger or stylus, or switch to Type and enter your name. Then pick the ink color and width and download a PNG or SVG.
How do I get a signature with a transparent background?
Download the PNG. The background is transparent and the image is trimmed to the signature, so it sits cleanly on any document.
Is a drawn signature legally valid?
In many countries a simple electronic signature, such as an image of your signature, is accepted for everyday agreements. Some contracts and official forms require a qualified or verified electronic signature instead. Check what the document requires.
How do I add my signature to a PDF?
Download the transparent PNG, open the PDF in an editor that lets you add an image or signature, place the PNG over the signature line and resize it.
How do I add an email signature to Gmail or Outlook?
Fill in the email signature form, tap copy, then paste it into the signature settings of Gmail, Outlook or Apple Mail. Images such as a photo or logo must be hosted at an https address to show up.
Is my signature stored anywhere?
No. The drawing lives only in this browser tab and disappears when you close it. Nothing is uploaded or saved.
