Business days count Monday to Friday and do not skip public holidays.

How old am I? This age calculator takes your date of birth and shows your exact age in years, months and days, your age in total months, weeks and days, a countdown to your next birthday and the weekday you were born. You can also set any other date to see how old someone was or will be then.

How to use

  1. Pick a tab: Between dates, Age, or Add / subtract.
  2. Choose the dates with the date pickers, or tap Today to fill in today’s date.
  3. Results update as you type. Tap any result row to copy it.
  4. Use the quick picks for holiday countdowns or common offsets like +30 or +90 days.
  • By default the end date is not counted (Jan 1 → Jan 2 is 1 day). Turn on “Include end date” to count both days.
  • Business days are Monday to Friday. Public holidays are not excluded because they differ by country.
  • Adding months keeps the day of the month when it exists and otherwise uses the last day of the month: Jan 31 + 1 month = Feb 28 (or Feb 29 in a leap year).
  • Age is counted in completed years, months and days. If you were born on February 29, your birthday is counted on February 28 in common years.
  • Dates are shown in your language’s format. Nothing you enter leaves your device.

How exact age is calculated

Age is counted in completed years, then completed months, then the remaining days, the way it is used on official forms. Someone born on May 15, 1990 is 36 years, 5 months and 17 days old on November 1, 2026, which is 13,319 days in total; they were born on a Tuesday.

If you were born on February 29, the calculator counts your birthday on February 28 in common years, which is the convention in many countries.

Other uses

Change the second date to find someone’s age on a past or future date, for example on a school entry cutoff, a retirement date or the day a document was signed. The total-days figure is handy for milestones such as your 10,000th day, which comes at about 27 years and 4 months.
