Business days count Monday to Friday and do not skip public holidays.
Christmas Day is on December 25, day 359 of the year (360 in a leap year). In 2026 it falls on a Friday and in 2027 on a Saturday. The countdown shows the days left from today, plus weeks, hours and business days, and moves on to next year once the date has passed.
How to use

- Adding months keeps the day of the month when it exists and otherwise uses the last day of the month: Jan 31 + 1 month = Feb 28 (or Feb 29 in a leap year).
- Age is counted in completed years, months and days. If you were born on February 29, your birthday is counted on February 28 in common years.
- Dates are shown in your language’s format. Nothing you enter leaves your device.
How the days are counted
By default the start date counts and the end date does not, the same way most contracts and calculators work: January 1 to January 2 is 1 day. Turn on Include end date when both days should count, for example for a hotel stay versus nights booked or a leave request.
Example: from January 1, 2026 to December 25, 2026 there are 358 days, which is 51 weeks and 1 day, or 11 months and 24 days. With the end date included the total is 359.
Business days and leap years
Business days are Monday to Friday. Public holidays are not removed because they differ by country, so subtract them yourself if they matter for a deadline.
Leap years follow the Gregorian rule: a year divisible by 4 is a leap year, except century years that are not divisible by 400. 2028 is a leap year, 2100 is not, and the calculator handles February 29 automatically.

How many days are between two dates?
Enter both dates and the total appears at once, along with years, months and days. The end date is excluded by default; turn on Include end date to add one day.
Does the calculator count the end date?
Not by default, so Monday to Friday of the same week is 4 days. With Include end date it becomes 5, which is how you count days worked or nights plus the last day.
How are business days calculated?
Every Monday to Friday between the two dates is counted. Weekends are skipped, but public holidays are not, because they vary by country and region.
How many weeks are between two dates?
The total days are divided by 7 and shown as full weeks plus remaining days, for example 100 days is 14 weeks and 2 days.
