Set up for FIBA-style basketball: four 10-minute quarters, a 24-second shot clock that resets to 14, +1, +2 and +3 buttons and team fouls per quarter. For NBA timing, change the period length to 12 minutes in settings; the buzzer sounds when a clock hits zero.

How to use

  1. Tap the settings button and pick Simple, Basketball, Volleyball, Table tennis, Badminton, Darts 501 or Cards. Set the number of teams and their names.
  2. Tap a team's big number to add a point. Use − to take one back and the extra buttons for +2, +3 or your own steps.
  3. Tap the game clock to start or stop it. Tap the shot clock to reset it to 24, or the small button for 14.
  4. For the chess clock, choose a time control, then tap your side after each move to start your opponent's clock.
  • Scores, settings and the history are saved in this browser and stay on your device. Each sport keeps its own game, so switching between them loses nothing.
  • Right-click or long-press a score to take a point away. Every change is listed in the history, and Undo steps back through it.
  • Volleyball, table tennis and badminton count sets or games for you: win by two, the shorter deciding set in volleyball, the badminton cap at 30 and who serves next.
  • Darts: type the total of each turn and press Enter. A turn that would leave less than zero, or 1 with double out, is a bust. Finishes are suggested from 170 down.
  • Chess clock: Fischer adds the increment after each move. Bronstein gives back the time you used, up to the increment. Simple delay waits that many seconds before your time starts to run.
  • The screen stays on while a clock runs and in full screen, if your browser allows it.

Rules built in

Each sport preset knows its scoring. Volleyball sets go to 25 (the fifth to 15) with a two-point lead; table tennis games go to 11 and the serve changes every two points, then every point from 10–10; badminton games go to 21 with a cap at 30. When a set or game is won, the board moves on and counts it.

Darts subtracts each turn from 501 (or 301 or 701), applies the double-out and bust rules, suggests checkouts from 170 down and keeps the 3-dart average.

Clocks and buzzer

The game clock counts down or up with any period length, and the basketball shot clock has 24- and 14-second resets. A buzzer sounds when a clock reaches zero. While a clock runs or the board is full screen, the screen is kept awake on browsers that support it.

Mistakes and history

Right-click or long-press a score to take a point off, or use Undo, which steps back through a full history of every change. Each sport keeps its own game, so switching from darts to cards loses nothing. Copy results puts the final score on your clipboard.

Frequently asked questions
