This online to-do list keeps your tasks with due dates, priorities, tags, subtasks and repeating tasks, saved automatically on your device with no account. Type a task and press Enter; add “tomorrow”, a date, #tag or !1 right in the line. Switch any list to a kanban board, and export to CSV or JSON whenever you like.
How to use
- Type a task and press Enter. Add #tags, !1 to !3 for priority, or today, tomorrow or a date like 2026-05-01 to set the due date.
- Tap the circle to complete a task. Tap the title to edit it, or the arrow for due date, priority, repeat, notes and subtasks.
- Drag the dots handle to reorder. On the board, drag cards between columns; on touch screens press and hold a card first.
- Use Lists for separate projects and Today, Upcoming and Done to filter. Repeating tasks create the next one when you complete them.
- Everything is saved automatically in this browser on this device. Nothing is uploaded. Export JSON from List settings to keep a backup or move your tasks to another device.
- Import accepts the JSON backup, CSV files with a title column (from spreadsheets or other apps) and plain text or Markdown with one task per line.
- Paste several lines into the input to add them as separate tasks.
- Checklist mode keeps ticked items in place and shows progress. Uncheck all resets a list you use again and again, such as a packing list.
- A WIP limit marks a board column red when it holds more cards than the limit.
Quick entry
The input understands a few shortcuts so you rarely need to open a form. “Call the dentist tomorrow !1 #health” creates a task due tomorrow with top priority and the tag health. Dates can be today, tomorrow or an ISO date such as 2026-05-01. Paste several lines and each line becomes its own task, which is handy for moving a list from an email or a note.
Repeating tasks (daily, weekly, monthly) create the next one when you tick them off, so a weekly review or a monthly bill reminder keeps coming back without retyping.
Organising without overthinking
Separate lists keep projects apart, and the Today and Upcoming views gather everything that is due across lists. A common approach is to give !1 to no more than three tasks a day, so the priority still means something. Subtasks break a big task into steps you can actually start. Checklist mode keeps ticked items in place and shows progress, and Uncheck all resets a reusable list such as packing or a weekly shop.
Everything is stored in this browser on this device. Export JSON from the list settings for a backup or to move to another device.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need an account to use this to-do list?
No. Tasks are saved automatically in this browser on this device. Nothing is uploaded, which also means there is no sync between devices.
How do I set a due date quickly?
Type it in the task line: today, tomorrow or a date like 2026-05-01. You can also open the task details and pick a date there.
Can I import tasks from another app?
Yes. Import accepts the JSON backup, CSV files with a title column from spreadsheets or other apps, and plain text or Markdown with one task per line.
How do repeating tasks work?
Set a repeat in the task details. When you complete the task, the next one is created with the following due date.
Can I use it on my phone?
Yes. It works in mobile browsers, and you can add it to the home screen. Tasks on the phone are separate from those on your computer unless you export and import them.
